Spend an evening in Italy with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra (CSO) and the Nuovo Cinema Italian Film Festival (NCIFF). CSO conductor Yuriy Bekker leads a program of selections from some of Italy’s most well-known classic films, such as Mondo, Cinema Paradiso, and of course, La Dolce Vita. This event also includes a cocktail hour with a selection of Italian wines and a silent auction. All proceeds help support the NCIFF, College of Charleston’s annual celebration of Italian art and culture. Charleston Music Hall, 37 John St. Thursday, 7pm. $55-$30.
