Artists Nate Larson and Marni Shindelman explore connections between society’s virtual communications and physical location through the use of data tracking in their exhibition at the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art. Within a series of photographs and video installations, the duo tracks locations of tweets from select social media users, documenting the location where the tweet was posted. By pairing each tweet with its place of origin, the artists create a link between our virtual and physical realities. A limited number of visitors are allowed in the Halsey’s main gallery at one time. Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art, 161 Calhoun St. Thursday & Friday, 11am-4pm. Free.
