Plus, Kenny Flowers transports shoppers to Margaritaville and more retail buzz
Brackish is debuting its first handbag collection featuring hand-placed feather accents this month.
Fine Feathers
The “it” bag of the season is sure to come from the new handbag collection launching this month from Brackish, the local company that introduced us to sustainably sourced feather bow ties, as well as statement earrings and cuffs. The handbag styles—including clutches, buckets, and shoulder bags—are fashioned with stunning guinea, pheasant, peacock, goose, or quail feather accents. Also look for the brand’s new semi-fine jewelry line inspired by deer antlers, featuring necklaces, bracelets, and rings in sterling silver or brass with 18K-gold plating. [brackish.com]
“Stayed Here All Season”
Lifestyle brand Kenny Flowers, known for its resort-ready print shirts, dresses, and swimsuits, is transporting shoppers to Margaritaville this spring with the launch of its collaboration with the Jimmy Buffet-founded brand. Stop by the upstairs Cabana Club at the Kenny Flowers King Street flagship through June to sip a frozen concoction and shop the pop-up featuring the Margaritaville-inspired collection of swimsuits and apparel for men and women. Palm Beach Vibes
Coniglio Palm Beach is bringing its inclusive, adjustable resort wear to downtown Charleston. Founder Christina Coniglio opened her first store in Palm Beach in 2023 to offer women clothing that evolves with them as they navigate different live stages. Shoppers will find boldly printed, silk dupioni maxi dresses, tunics, skirts, and pants with details such as drawstrings, shirring, and spaghetti ties to allow for styles that fit sizes 0 to 12, as well as tote bags and table linens. Look for the store to host local artists and makers in its back lounge. [49 Archdale St., conigliopalmbeach.com]
It’s the Small Things
On April 13, take a break for mindfulness and self-care during the “La Petit Retreat” hosted by The Drop In cofounders Gillian Zettler and Chandler Frisbie by the pool of The Mills House. Participants can sip morning coffee, take a restorative flow class, practice breathing techniques, and enjoy an alfresco lunch, while connecting with others.
