“BEAUTILITY” WORKSHOP: STRATEGIES FOR RENEWAL

Local artist Cookie Washington leads this collaborative crafting session that honors resourceful African American textile traditions rooted in storytelling, focusing on no-sew practices such as Gullah rag quilting. All materials will be provided to make a tote bag, but participants are encouraged to bring fabric scraps with personal meaning to incorporate into their pieces.
