Established in 1977 in New Orleans, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band takes the traditional foundation of brass band music and incorporates elements of bebop, funk, and R&B. The seven-man band has toured across five continents and more than 30 countries, collaborated with the likes of Modest Mouse and Norah Jones, and recorded more than 12 studio albums.
