BLESSING OF THE FLEET & SEAFOOD FESTIVAL

Since 1988, the Blessing of the Fleet & Seafood Festival has paid tribute to the local fishing and shrimping industries through its annual boat parade and ceremonial blessing of local trawlers. Bring your own chairs to enjoy live music, craft shows, and other activities, including shrimp-eating contests and an art exhibition by the Mount Pleasant Artists Guild.
