Beethoven’s Fifth

With its iconic four-note theme, Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony is one of the most recognizable pieces of classical music ever written. Hear it performed by the Charleston Symphony Orchestra on a Saturday evening when you can also catch the world premiere of Oboe Concerto by Yiorgos Vassilandonakis, a College of Charleston music theory and composition professor with many credits as a composer and conductor to his name.
