Honor 18th-century African American holiday traditions at Drayton Hall’s 38th-annual event. Ann Caldwell and the Magnolia Singers keep oral traditions alive, performing tunes that would have been sung by enslaved people in the fields of Drayton Hall and other plantations. Guests can sample wassail, a popular 18th-century holiday cider, during the reception. Drayton Hall, 3380 Ashley River Rd. Sunday, 3:30pm. $75; $65 for members. (843)769-2600, www.draytonhall.org
