Marie Hunnicutt and Jas Kigos

Though Marie, of Siler City, North Carolina, first saw Summerville native and musician Jas perform in Columbia, it wasn’t until the next concert of his she attended—in Charlotte—that the pair met. After two years of friendship the couple began dating, and a year and a half later, Jas proposed during a trip to Walt Disney World. The couple, who reside in Davenport, Florida, wed at First Baptist Church in Asheville, North Carolina, then received guests at a reception held at The Century Room.
