December 6
Join local jewelry designer Dee Ruel for her holiday trunk show. Sip on spirits and indulge in desserts while checking out her custom-made jewels (featuring dainty gold and colorful gems) and stationery. Buy straight from the show or place custom orders.

Grab your guy and get to M. Dumas & Sons for the High Cotton trunk show. Owner and founder James Hill will be in the shop from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with an exclusive look at his Spring 2013 collection. Best known for their 100 percent cotton bow ties and cummerbunds, the North Carolina-based company will have your man well-suited for any or all upcoming wedding fêtes.

David Yurman devotees: don’t miss this special event at REEDS Jewelers, where one of the largest collections of the designer’s pieces in the Southeast awaits. From 4 to 8 p.m., a trunk show of new and unique Yurman pieces will be yours for the browsing and buying. Need any more enticement? How about the live music, treats from the Daniel Island caterer Laura Alberts, and an open bar that will be making spirits bright?

Work your way down the Cannon Street's Wedding Quarter corridor 5 to 8 p.m. for an after-hours shopping extravaganza. Indigo & Cotton, Sugar Bakeshop, Magar Hatworks, mac & murphy, and a Proud Mary pop-up shop from Harper Poe will all be open late, and, aside from their respective offerings, will offer shoppers live music, yummy bites, or beverages.

December 6 & 7
Searching for a win-win situation? Look no further than Kiawah Fine Jewelry’s Wish Nights, where you can find some gorgeous bejeweled gifts and give to a worthy cause. A portion of purchases made between 4 and 7 p.m. either night will be given to the South Carolina Make a Wish Foundation. Enjoy cocktails and hors d’eouvres and be sure to fill out a holiday “wish list,” as some of the proceeds made from items purchased off your list will be donated to the foundation, as well. The men’s clothier is celebrating the season with a “Golden Fleece Event,” a holiday promotion that includes 20 percent off all items purchased with a Brooks Brothers credit card and a 15 percent discount on items purchased with any other credit card. Two percent of net sales during the event will be donated to various charities, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
