Cameron Richard & Autumn Spraker

October 3, 2012

When Covington, Georgia, native Cameron and Autumn, of Syracuse, New York, met at Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Summerville, they instantly hit it off. Autumn says that after a successful second date, “The rest was history!” To celebrate their eight month anniversary, the pair dined at Fleet Landing downtown. After dinner, Cameron suggested they take in more sights of the Charleston Harbor from the nearby Waterfront Park. While strolling down the park’s pier, they paused to ask a passerby to take a few photos. In between shots, Cameron got down on one knee and said, “Complete my life puzzle and marry me.” Overwhelmed to the point she could hardly speak, Autumn says, she nodded her silent “yes.” As a keepsake from the night, Autumn wrote a poem, which ends, “October 3, 2012—the best night of my life. Can’t wait for April to become your Navy wife.” The couple will marry April 21, 2013 at the Golf Club at Wescott Plantation.
