We've not updated the blog in a while because we're prepping for a big overhaul of the site! Stay tuned in August...But in the meantime? This event is too fab not to mention. Here's the scoop:
Today through this Thursday, The Bridal House of Charleston is giving away 25 free gowns on a first-come, first-serve basis to any bride-to-be who is (or whose fiance is) active duty in Iraq or Afghanistan. Besides that amazing offer, there are sweet treats from Tristan, New Dreams Catering, and Publix to sample on there, and other deals galore: everything in store is 15 percent off; veils, shoes and tiaras are marked down 50 to 70 percent; and gowns not in the giveaway group are marked down 50 to 70 percent off as well.
We've added free magazines to the mix, and will be profiling the 25 winners here and running their announcements in our magazines as well. And one last treat? They are running a raffle with a drawing July 22, with winnings like: $500 gift certificate from Wild Flowers; a bridal bouquet from Ooh! Events; travel bags, earrings, and a pashmina from Patine Blue; champagne flutes, cake knives, flower girl basket, ring pillow, and a guest book from Beverly Clark; alterations; photo shoots from Zero 9 Photography; pearl earrings from Betta's Bling; and stock-the-bar certificates from Wine Styles. Whew!!!
