Turkey Day Run & Gobble Wobble 5K

Over the last 41 years, Charleston’s Turkey Day Run and Gobble Wobble has become a holiday tradition not to be missed. This month, runners can take in the scenery of historic downtown Charleston on a course that weaves from Marion Square to the Battery. Back at the square, enjoy a post-race party with free food and drinks (including a celebratory beer for those 21 and up), live music, and an awards ceremony. Kids can participate in a children’s fun run, as well as post-race activities. Break a sweat before the evening feast, and help raise funds for various local charities along the way. Marion Square, 329 Meeting St. Thursday, 9am. $45; $10 child under 11. www.turkeydayrun.com
