What To Wear To The RENT Bohemian Ball!

Ayoka Lucas, Style Editor

Bring on the Bohemian Ball! It's finally here and this stylish bash will celebrate the Tony Award winning Broadway Musical RENT will open tomorrow, January 21st at the Charleston Music Hall as a benefit for 2 local charities The Roper St. Francis Ryan White Foundation and the Alliance For Full Acceptance.

Over the past month the cast has been become the "It" girls and guys of the city, hosting special events, popping up at parties and taking over the social scene! Tomorrow night White Tuxedo Productions will take us into the RENT world of Boho style, filled with artistic expression, heavy hors d'oeuvres from IVERSON catering and cabaret performances! Tickets to this highly anticipated event will include preferred seating at the show and then a bike taxi ride to the Urban Boho East Village loft circa 1989 via Charleston! This party has created the biggest "What to wear" rumblings so I am here to give you a little push in the right direction.

Boho chic is all about beads, headband, funky floral and print motifs, the maxi dress, fringe, feathers, bangles, oversized rings, hats, scrunchy boots, tunics, a braid in the hair, vintage finds and hippie style detail! Men - just think Johnny Depp! Here are some of my favorite Bohemian looks to get you inspired:

Get your tickets now for your chance not only to see RENT Live but to truly experience it and don't forget it's a wonderful benefit for two amazing causes! Now you know what to wear so no excuses- just express yourself!! See you there!
