WATCH: King Street Shop Walk, Cynthia Rowley and NEST Holiday Pop-up Shop
Mackenzie Image Consulting has delivered for the second time to the Holy City the King Street Shop Walk, a benefit for the Center For Women. Attendees were given a passport to stores where merchandise was discounted, treats were offered and everyone was given the opportunity to drop their name in the raffle box for door prizes! I personally love anything that supports shopping local. I had fun running into some of my favorite style mavens and gents while checking out the latest arrivals in stores.
One hot spot of the night was Cynthia Rowley for the NEST Holiday Pop-up Shop where I learned more about this amazing effort to provide impoverished women around the world an opportunity to support their families through the marketing and selling of their craft! Expect to hear more from me on this organization as I join forces with Harper Poe, designer behind Proud Mary (a socially conscious textile design company), who has started the Charleston NEST chapter! The night ended at the Charleston Place Hotel, the title sponsor, with a very merry Santa giving away some of the most incredible door prizes I've come across in a long time (Croghan's jewelry, Night stay at Charleston Place Hotel, shopping sprees and more!)
Watch the highlights of this holiday shopping affair and see where my passport led me:
