VIDEO: Art Institute's Dollhouse Show, Spoleto Scene's White Party & American Apparel Warehouse Sale
A Style and Shopping Frenzy
Welcome to the Dollhouse was the theme of the Art Institute of Charleston's first fashion show showcasing student designs on Friday night!
The runway collections were presented in fours scenes that included Barbie Dolls by Cavortress, VooDoo Dolls by MEW Designs, Matryoshka Dolls by Mamie Ruth and Paper Dolls by the AiCSC Students. With lots of support from the community, the students put together a full fashion presentation under the leadership of their instructor, designer Ashley Reid.
SPOLETO SCENE WHITE PARTY
The annual Spoleto Scene White Party is always a fashionable affair! What did everyone wear? White, of course! Men and women alike played by the rules and came dressed to the nines in the color theme of the night. The number one trend of the evening - white lace, eyelet and textured shift dress! See the street style spotted in this video blog!
AMERICAN APPAREL WAREHOUSE FLEA MARKET SALE
The Charleston Style Vlog went on the road this weekend and headed to Atlanta for the American Apparel Warehouse Flea Market Sale! They were kind enough to invite us to capture this highly anticipated shopping frenzy! We met up with designer Mychael Knight and took a crazy journey into the AA tents where everything was $1 to $25! The lines were 6,000 people deep and the heat was brutal but the purchases were divine! See the highlights of this fashion road trip adventure here!
