The first annual Spring Invitation Polo Match, sponsored in part by Charleston magazine, launched with flying colors on Sunday, May 15 at Hyde Park Farm & Polo Club. The day could not have been more perfect for this fantastic sporting—and very social—event. Picture a gorgeous field lined with tents and spectators, kids and dogs running around, and conversations and champagne flowing. We spotted sun hats in myriad styles, ladies in sundresses, and seersucker galore. Eager to share who and what they were wearing, our Street Style picks spotlight the trends. Also very stylish, the tents for sponsors and attendees were also “dressed” in a variety of themes in anticipation of Charleston Home's “Best Dressed Tent” competition. Mary Alice Vann’s appropriately equestrian-themed spot took first prize. We expect the fall invitational—set for early November—to deliver even more fashion and stylish festivities as this great must-attend event becomes tradition.

Where is there coverage of the actual polo match... the polo ponies and the riders playing polo?
