SPOLETO STYLE WATCH: Spoleto Scene Hosts Joy Kills Sorrow Pre-show Bash

Spoleto Scene threw a festive pre-show bash for the Joy Kills Sorrow performance and the style mavens were in the house at the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art. I spotted a few gems from Candy Shop Vintage (Charleston's newest style success story having been featured on Mad Men) and a couple of Van. H. rings adorning fingers including mine!  Handbag envy stirred up in me as I breezed by Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Balenciaga arm candy.  See the Spoleto style stars of the evening below!

The color of the evening was all about 'pop' hues with hot pink and red leading them all. 

Before the night was over I took a peek at the Return to the Sea: Saltworks exhibit! This intricate visual art piece was created entirely of salt by artist Motoi Yamamoto. Then there was that time I attempted my own salt masterpiece... don't judge me. (It's a cherry, I think?)
