World AIDS Day has kicked off a month of awareness for us all but the cause doesn't stop there. Lowcountry AIDS Services is hosting their annual Shopping with Friends Kick-Off Brunch this Saturday at the Historical Riviera Theater! From 10 am until noon you can once again expect amazing eats, a live auction, DJ and the return of the Vintage Village where yours truly will be the host having selected my Editor's Picks at each of the five featured vintage brokers tables to include Candy Shop Vintage, Lori Wyatt Vintage Collection, Style Girl Collection, Love Me Again and Cavortress. Don't forget to get pick up my vintage shopping tips cards provided by Charleston Magazine. Did I mention the gift bags are valued at $100? All of this for only $45 dollars and for an incredible cause! The brunch will kick off a day of shopping at over 150 national and locally owned Red Ribbon retailers and restaurants who will donate 10% of every dollar you spend to Lowcountry AIDS Services, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for persons living with HIV and AIDS and to providing HIV prevention resources and programs for schools, churches, community organizations, and the workplace in Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties.  Don't miss out on the Cocktail Party and Fashion Show celebration for Shopping With Friends hosted by Biton, this Friday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm.  The first 50 shoppers will receive special swag bags and everyone will get to view the latest Fall trends. Remember, there is nothing more fashionable then shopping for a cause!

To purchase tickets to the brunch visit www.aids-services.com or call 843-747-2263.

VAN H. LAUNCHES WITH BIG BAUBLES!

Tonight don't miss the launch of Van H. jewelry at The Restoration Hotel On King located at 75 Wentworth Street, Unit 201 from 5:30 until 7:30. (This hotel is a new kid on the block but super chic and glam!)

Any one who has ever met me knows that I am a fanatic about giant oversized cocktail rings and thats what Annie Van Harlingen, the designer behind Van H., does best! Talk about a rockstar Christmas present! (No pun intended.) This is it!
