February is certainly a short month but for Charleston's fashion scene it was packed with events, runway and shopping parties! Three of my favorite reasons to leave the house! With all of the back-to-back festivities, a few blogs were left in the style vlog vault. Since we are wrapping up February I thought we would take a look back to the never released Gaga Day at the Joe fundraiser and The Sale Soiree and Fashion Show which was a huge success for retailers and local designers. Enjoy!
Freezing cold and lots of Gaga's expressing their love for the superstar sums up this innovative affair! This benefit for the Trevor Project, the leading national organization focused on crisis and suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth, was all about playing the part and love letters to Gaga. Ah, the little monsters.
The Sale Soiree and Fashion Show
One of my favorite runway moments from Tisdale + Verona
This was another great fundraiser all in the name of fashion, benefiting People Against Rape! Lots of shopping opportunities with discount merchandise and multiple runway shows from local designers Krista Beth Huff, Julia Faye Davison, Mamie Ruth, MEW Designs, Suite 33 and Tisdale+Verona, attracted a large and lovely crowd.
