Beba Luxe debuts B.Luxe Private Collection

April 14th was the perfect evening evening to celebrate debut collection, B. Luxe designed by Anita Lucas, owner of Beba Luxe boutique. As the moon rose above St. John's Yacht Harbor on John's Island, guests enjoyed wine, champagne, and the event's signature cocktail, the 'Luxe Azure'. Fresh hor d'oeuvres were also served courtesy of Berry Waldrop, chef of St. John's Harbor. The gathering space was transformed into a seaside getaway, decorated with artwork by local artist Olessia Maximenko, whose work you may recognize from several hotspots around town. Of course, the main focus of the evening was the B. Luxe collection and anticipation grew as the sun set and guests moved inside for the show. The select group of models showed about fifteen looks, styled with jewelry by Anitaja and accessories by Cordo. One could easily see that Anita has designed with the comfort and beauty of her established clientele in mind. She shared with me that her goal for the collection was to be versatile, pieces you could wear out to dinner with friends or to a casual gathering on the beach. The colors were soft and simple, and the collection left the audience anticipating their next chance to visit Beba Luxe and make a piece (or three!) their own.
