What could we possibly need more of in this ample fashion world? Emerging Designers!  Yes, fresh, fearless and innovative talent that takes this industry by storm introducing us to new vision, style and technique. Charleston Fashion Week® (CFW) has kicked off it's fifth year of the Emerging Designer Competition: East presented by the Art Institute of Charleston and we are preparing for a new crop of runway presenters!  In anticipation for next year's design competition,  I captured a few images from the websites of some of our past contestants for a photo blog of what they are up to now:

PROJECT RUNWAY ALL STARS:

Speaking of Tim Gunn, Project Runway All Stars have been announced! There will be a whole new host, judges and mentor including Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman.  I'm so excited to check out designers Gordana Gehlhausen and April Johnston, former Charleston Fashion Week Featured Designers, 'sew' up the competition on Lifetime! Gotta love a good play on words!
