Tucked in the courtyard of the posh Zero George Hotel, this petite eatery’s lush patio feels like a secret garden. But if the weather’s bad, the dining room, adjacent to the circa-1804 carriage-house kitchen, is pretty darn romantic too. Chef Vinson Petrillo, an alum of Top Chef and Chopped, turns out a rotating menu of super-seasonal dishes: start with an heirloom tomato plate or blistered shishitos with a garlicy dipping sauce and move onto shrimp panzanella for the main course. With a boutique wine list and craft cocktails such as the perfect Bespoke Manhattan, the booze is tops, too.
