INGREDIENTS: 

2/3 cup lemon-lime sparkling water
1 splash homemade grenadine (recipe follows)

For the homemade grenadine:

2 cups fresh pomegranate juice
2 cups refined sugar
1 tsp. orange blossom water

DIRECTIONS: 

Heat the juice and sugar in a sauce pan until the sugar is dissolved. Let cool and add orange blossom water. Store grenadine syrup in refrigerator up to one week.

Note: This recipe calls for homemade grenadine, says Katie, but you can also use the store-bought version. Her recipe yields enough syrup to make 25 servings.
