Lovers of art and culture flocked to Memminger Auditorium for the annual Spoleto Auction. They enjoyed food prepared by Cru Catering, listened to live jazz music, and bid on items in an auction to raise money for Spoleto Festival USA.
Party-goers munched on roasted grapes on brie, crostini, and local honey, as well as braised chicken and mini fish tacos while enjoying the night’s entertainments. Music was provided by the Charleston Latin-Jazz Collective, featuring Gino Castillo.
Proceeds from the dinner went to Spoleto Festival USA, widely regarded as one of the country’s greatest performing arts festivals. The Festival is held every year in Charleston and strives to present programs of the best artistic caliber while supporting the artists and their work.
