It was a relaxing, elegant reception for the small crowd that gathered upstairs at Anson Restaurant to celebrate the success of Lowcountry AIDS Services’ Dining with Friends Weekend.

The hosts of the weekend’s brunches and dinners were able to kick back and mingle over glasses of wine and a delicious spread of small bites, which included spring rolls, bruschetta, and fried macaroni and cheese topped with pimento cheese.

Everyone lingered around the spread or lounged at tables, reflecting on the wonderful weekend. The annual Dining with Friends Weekend supports and benefits Lowcountry AIDS Services. People of all walks of life host brunches, dinners, or cocktail parties during this annual event, in exchange for a donation to Lowcountry AIDS Services.

Lowcountry AIDS Services was founded 20 years ago to assist and support individuals living with HIV/AIDS and their families. To date, the organization has helped over 3,200 individuals affected by HIV in the Tri-county area.
