From live theatre to a holiday shopping stroll, opportunities to support independent entrepreneurs populated the third annual Lowcountry Local First, a five-day event designed to heighten awareness of locally owned businesses. On Sunday, a small crowd gathered at The Landing on Shem Creek for the Buy Local, Be Local Bash—the culmination of the advocacy's group emphasis on sustaining a local economy.
