MIYAZAKI FILM FEST

Celebrating the work of the iconic animation director and storyteller Hayao Miyazaki, Charleston Music Hall presents the Miyazaki Film Fest. With four critically acclaimed films on view throughout the day—Kiki’s Delivery Service, Howl’s Moving Castle, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, and Spirited Away—and special food and beverage offerings, including ramen and sweet treats from Ice Bing Cafe, served in the lobby, anime fanatics and first-time viewers alike are invited to partake in the inaugural year of an event that organizers hope to make an annual tradition. Charleston Music Hall, 37 John St. Saturday, noon-11pm. $12 per film; $36 Four Film Day Pass.
