A small-town diner, a staff of lovesick waitresses, and an impending zombie invasion—what could go right? Such is the latest brainchild of composers, playwrights, and 34 West Theater cofounders Stephen Wayne and Jeff Querin, Love Potion #9. This “post-apocalyptic doo-wop musical” pays homage to 1950s and ‘60s sci-fi television and horror flicks with a soundtrack featuring everything from a Destiny’s Child tune to an original score by Wayne.
