HOPE WALK AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

 

South Carolina is currently ranked number five in the US for reports of domestic violence, but Project Unity hopes to change that. Participate in the Hope Walk, the organization’s annual fundraiser that invites members of the Charleston community to hit the bridge to shed light on domestic violence victims in the area. All proceeds directly aid national organization Project Unity as they continue to provide support to local individuals in crisis situations. Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge walking path, America St. & Lee St. Saturday, 7-11am. $27-$25. www.projectunityusa.org
