  • 6 slices of baguette, sliced thick on the bias
  • 2 Tbs. butter, melted
  • 3 ripe but firm Bartlett pears, halved and cored
  • 6 oz. Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled


Preheat grill to medium heat. Place pears cut side down on grill and cook until there’s a slight give when touched, about two minutes. Remove and cut pear into thin slices. Brush one side of bread slices lightly with melted butter. Place buttered side down on grill. Quickly shingle pear slices generously on the bread and top with the cheese.
