Easy Project
Craft a thrifty, handmade headboard
Step 1: Determine the width, according to mattress/box spring size, and desired height of your headboard.
Step 2: Have a home improvement store cut a piece of lumber to size.
Step 3. Trim four-inch foam to match board dimensions.
Step 4: Attach foam to board using spray adhesive.
Step 5: Purchase fabric according to headboard size, adding 6-8 inches excess on each side.
Step 6: Cover the foam-covered side of the board in fabric and pull taut. Wrap edges around to the back and staple to board.
