Don’t feel like fighting crowds or hunting for parking? Cruise into Park Circle, where you can swing the car into a spot at the Felix C. Davis Community Center and enjoy easy access to veggies from farmers like Joseph Fields and his brother, Robert. While this market’s mostly about food—there are jams and jellies; cornmeal, hush puppy mix, and grits; baked goods; and the like—you’ll find a few creatives selling items such as wreaths and handmade children’s clothing.

The City of North Charleston’s Cultural Arts Department hosts entertainment each week, including musical performances and art demonstrations. And a bonus: the Park Circle Butterfly Garden is steps away, with benches and picnic tables inviting shaded relaxation amidst the lush plantings.
