To create strong, empowering clothes, I envisioned the modern woman facing everyday battles, and I considered how we perceive ourselves—who we are versus who we think we are, the inner mind trying to match its outer self. This highly textured collection expresses how “armor” is both a great asset and a hindrance, how it can become our protection, preparation, fortitude, and vulnerability. To represent that, my garments boast metal studding, neck pieces, and closures.
