My work is often inspired by the culture of my native Cameroon. When creating this collection, I imagined a young concertgoer traveling from Africa to the Himalayas. Texture, rich coloring, and comfortable silhouettes are essential. You’ll see lots of pants, and I love the chic pairing of ankle-length dresses and skirts with exposed zippers for a feminine edginess. Cowry shell beading, leather, and yarn fringe provide runway appeal.
