I gained inspiration from the delicate complexities of the chandelier, be it a medieval spiked wooden candelabra or luxurious status symbol. The collection juxtaposes soft and hard elements, such as silk, metal sequins, and chain fringe, and I have repurposed antique chandelier components as embellishments and accessories. My patterns reflect the contrast between light and shadow while my fabrics were guided by the colors that beam through crystals. Like a chandelier, my collection is meant to be poised yet daring, delicate but robust.
