A Girl Scouting past meets my present station on the concrete trails of NYC in this fresh collection. The designs gain inspiration from camping and the outdoors—with interesting necklines to keep the face warm and oversize pockets referencing safari outfits—while remaining tailored and appropriate for city life. Surprise details like lambskin trim, long-pile faux fur, and woven raffia give this presentation a whimsical Where the Wild Things Are feel. I’m also planning a custom print using mapped images of my favorite areas in the Blue Ridge Mountains and Florida Everglades.
