The model search for Charleston Fashion Week® (CFW) 2012 continues! On September 24, more than 60 aspiring models took over the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina and auditioned to walk the CFW runway and the chance to be picked for the Rock the Runway Model Competition. Over the course of four hours, casting judges, model coach Michelle Wood, designer and special guest K. Cooper Ray, and yours truly watched one runway hopeful after another walk the walk. Who will be the next CFW model winner? It could be you!
CFW has been credited with discovering and cultivating talent, and former CFW models have gone on to land contracts with IMG and Elite and television appearances on America’s Next Top Model. Don’t miss your opportunity to attend the last local casting call taking place on October 22 at the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina. The deadline to pre-register for a secured audition time is Friday, October 7, 2011 at 11 p.m. Applications must be submitted online. Female models must be at least 5’7” (without heels) and male models at least 5’10” tall to qualify.
If you miss the deadline, come to our Open Casting Call at the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina on October 22. Registration is at 1:45 p.m., and the open call auditions begin at 2 p.m.
