Going, Going, Almost Gone!
Tickets for Saturday’s Bridal Show are nearly sold out
Hi everyone! We here at the magazine are beside ourselves with excitement about the Charleston Weddings Spring Bridal Show this Saturday, March 26. Bottom line first? VIP tickets have sold out and general admission tickets are ALMOST SOLD OUT, so before you read any further, buy yours now by clicking here!
A few new things have got us all fired up. First, Carol Hannah, whose gowns are carried at Maddison Row and whose bridesmaid frocks are at Bella Bridesmaid, is confirmed as returning to debut some killer surprises during those two shops’ combined show. I’ve heard tell of her blow-your-mind finale gown, one so over-the-top it’s killing me to keep quiet it about it...seriously!
Other things? Anyone into who’s who stalking might be excited about the industry VIP attendees who’ve confirmed seats, like editors from the knot; Fern Mallis (creator of New York Fashion Week); Alexis Maybank (of the Gilt Groupe); Janie Bryant (costume designer for “Mad Men”); K. Cooper Ray (of SocialPrimer.com and our “bow tie guy” feature this issue); and Mychael Knight (designer and “Project Runway” alum). The creative team from Charleston Weddings, including style director Ayoka Lucas and hair, makeup maven Ashley Brook Perryman, and me, Melissa Bigner, will all be on hand, too. Capturing the whole event will be international photographer and fashionista extraordinaire Ed Kavishe of Fashion Wire Press, and Charleston’s own fab wedding photogs Taylor Stewart and Heather Forsythe will be shooting for us as well.
So hurry up and save your spot to join us! Remember there are giveaways (a flower girl gown; software for DIY invites; a consultation with me about planning your wedding; and more); killer swag bags; shop-till-you drop bridal accessories; cocktails and Big Day nibbles; and tunes from both DJ Arthur Brothers and classical tunes from Charleston Virtuosi.
For details on the event, which runs from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at the tents in Marion Square, please click here!
