Event Details

Learn about the important impact rice has had on South Carolina’s history while tasting your way through history. The Old Village Post House hosts experts Dr. David Shields, Glen Roberts, and Dr. Brian Ward as they school attendees about the Lowcountry’s historic grain. Chef Parker has planned five courses to accompany the talks, with dishes featuring the flavors of the Antebellum Lowcountry. Proceeds benefit research at Clemson University Agricultural Extension.
