The South Carolina Aquarium teams up with the 5 Gyres Institute and the Lonely Whale Foundation to host a one-day conference on the issue of plastic pollution. Delve deep into the study of conservation with talks from experts in the field including Dr. Marcus Eriksen, cofounder and director of research at the 5 Gyres Institute, and David Katz, founder and CEO of The Plastic Bank.
