Event Details

Stroll along the beaches of Kiawah Island and admire the rich diversity of wildlife as area biologist Aaron Given leads you through the East End Beach. Keep your eyes peeled for some of Kiawah’s spectacular nesting birds, including terns, gulls, sandpipers, plovers, and oystercatchers. After exploring the beach, the group heads to Willet Pond in search of pond and marsh birds, such as bitterns, black-necked stilts, and clapper rails. Reservations are required.
