Ken Vedrinski’s foray onto the peninsula pays homage to his Italian Grandma Volpe. Delicious assaggini—a selection of small plates of vegetable, cheeses, and meats—can be shared tapas-style. House-made pastas and piatti (main courses) include such rarities as sheep’s milk ricotta gnudi, Grandma Volpe’s classic tomato ragù, and fresh fish prepared dei Cuiochi—“in the chef’s choice.” Italian coffee and fresh-made sweets, such as delectable polenta cake, form a perfect ending.
