You may be going through withdrawals now that Fashion Camp a.k.a. Charleston Fashion Week has come to a close! The good news is you don't have to be! The next monumental fashion event is on it's way!

Hampden clothing, who just recently hosted the VIP Party for Charleston Fashion Week Featured Designer Chris Benz, is at it again. This time it's their 5th year anniversary they are celebrating with none other then mega design duo Marcus Wainwright & David Neville of rag & bone! On Friday, March 30th at noon at the Westbrook Brewery in Mt. Pleasant, Hampden will host the rag & bone Spring 2012 Runway Show followed by Personal Shopping with designers Marcus and David! Trust me when I say this is unheard of in these parts! Tickets are on sale for $75 and can be purchased online at www.hampdenclothing.com.  Don't wait as there is limited availability and each ticket purchased comes with assigned seating with a portion of the proceeds to benefit The Art of Elysium, A National non-profit organization striving to bring the creative arts to children battling serious medical conditions.

rag & bone is the highly popular and well sought after lifestyles brand that offers everything from menswear to woman's collections and a full accessories line to boot! In fact, in 2010 David Neville and Marcus Wainwright were named Menswear Designers of the Year by the CFDA.

Stacy Smallwood, owner of Hampden Clothing, explains the motive behind this event, "I think, with online retailers and people getting so used to shopping online they’ve lost that customer experience and that’s what we really want to bring back. The idea of the old school way of shopping. We want to get to know you, we want to get to know what you do on a daily basis, what your life is like, what you need and when we go to market, we shop for customers. " She goes on to say, "In bringing a designer here like this we want to celebrate our five year anniversary and do it in a way that would be the biggest and best thing that we’ve ever done before. We started this process over a year ago. I think there’s a misconception about fashion that I even get to hang out with the designers or that we get get to do this all the time. This is going to be a special experience for me, to have this opportunity to meet them. They’re our number one designer in the store and I think it is because any age can wear their clothing; its a big enough collection that you can style it as young, hip and as cool as you want or you can wear a simple blazer and a t-shirt and jeans and be ready to go whether you are 60 or 70 years old. There are very few collections that can do that. Period."

If you are wondering why this is the fashion event not to miss, Stacy explains, "We will have 8 dressing rooms there for people to shop the entire collection. We will have shoes, bags, clothes, jeans and men’s. They’re sending in almost their entire collection for people to shop that day. It is probably the most rag&bone you will ever see in one place, probably more than they have in  their stores. This is the biggest event that they’ve ever done with an independent store. They’re only doing events with Saks Nordstrom and us this season. "
