Who doesn’t love having that elusive, sexy done, yet un-done hair appeal? I know I do! I was recently handed a bottle of Bumble and bumble Texture Hair Crème and was very excited to take this bottle for a test drive.

After getting home from the gym I hopped in the shower to cleanse my gritty locks, post-shower I wrapped them up in a towel and got dressed. After a little towel-drying session I decided to give the product a whirl. The instructions read:

Work through damp hair (a must). Start with a small amount and build. Let it sit a minute, then loosen and ruffle, freehand.  Apply at roots for extra lift

So, being the girl with the long hair, I squirted a generous amount of product into my hands, rubbed it up and started to work through my hair…. Now, what happened next was not exactly what I had hoped for. Instead of rising high and tousling out, my hair resembled a glob of bubble-gum covered in long, brown strands of sticky gunk. Obviously, I was mortified by my results but that is not to say that this is a ‘bad’ product.

In review, I recommend this hair crème for those of you who might have shorter, tamer hair. I would advise you to start with a very small amount and test it out on a few strands before applying it all over. This product would actually be perfect for men, too!

Lesson Learned: Know your hair type before applying products, you might find yourself in a sticky situation. When in doubt, ask your stylist.

Sidebar: As a beauty enthusiast I have always been super pleased by the chic products produced by Bumble and bumble. click here to check out more of their beauty products or check out the list below for my favorite items:

Hair Powder - I use this when my hair is looking a little oily but I don't have time for a wash!

Spray De Mode - This hair spray has just enough hold but doesn't leave your hair feeling stiff or unnatural.

Creme de Coco Conditioner - A little dab will do ya!
