Martin Luther King Parade 2013

Charlestonians took to the streets to walk in and support the annual Martin Luther King Day parade, as hosted by the YWCA Greater Charleston and the City of Charleston on Monday, January 21.

The parade started at Burke High School before going down King Street.
Shouts of "Happy King Day!" filled King Street.

The Boeing crowd shouted "We build jets!" during the parade.
Colorful cars and floats set the festive tone for the day.
This float was a hit with those who attended.
