The Old Settler
Ever wondered what would happen when a handsome young man, newly arrived from South Carolina, rents a room in the Harlem apartment two aging, church-going sisters share? Set in 1943, this sweet-natured comedy is as much about history as it is about the lives of two sisters and the young man who comes to board with them. The gripping tenstion between the sisters exposes a 30 year-old wound, which, until now, only had a bandage.
