See how just one voice can change a community through this powerful combination of art and song presented by Charleston Chamber Opera. Listen to “King of Ragtime” Scott Joplin’s Treemonisha, as well as additional selections from African-American composers at this event held in conjunction with the Gibbes Museum of Art exhibit “Places for the Spirit: Traditional African American Gardens of the South.” Enjoy three of South Carolina’s most promising emerging singers as part of the inaugural Young Artist Program of Charleston Chamber Opera.
