What do you get when you combine the poetic words of Emily Dickinson, the life of folk artist Gertrude Morgan, two million feet of fine wire, the Hindu-inspired “tongue of God,” and a couple of ball gowns? Stop by Lesley Dill’s exhibition at the Halsey to find out why viewers are buzzing about this New York-based artist’s dramatic fusion of art and language.
