Event Details

As the artist behind acclaimed exhibition "Working South," Mary Whyte flawlessly executed her subjects’ physical appearances as well as their emotions. Why not learn from the best at her crash course in watercolor portraits? Whyte’s one-day watercolor workshop will focus on the portrayal of a live model in order for students to acquire expert techniques, like the delicate practice of mixing colors to imitate skin tone. In addition to lunch, a private tour of Whyte’s exhibition is included in ticket price. Lance Hall at Circular Congregational Church, 150 Meeting St. Saturday, 9am-4pm. $200; $180 members.
